"I accidentally called the store at 7:46 in the morning I see they open at 8:00. I and my guy friend were driving to Pine to see the salmon run. I asked the question if they were running. The number must run to the owners residence. The woman was extremely rude, saying I’m not even open, Oh my God call the forest service she should’ve said call fish & game and she hung up on me. I don’t know who urinated in her Cheerios this morning but if she doesn’t want calls from the store, she needs to turn off that phone. The only reason that store exists is because of the River and the fish."
"I understand the prices being higher as to it being a small town but they are flat ridiculous when you can go to featherville and get stuff way cheaper than here. They are so incredibly rude there. My friend and i visted to pick up a few items and while we were there decided to rinse out a cup as we were going to buy ice waters. A blonde woman came over and rudely screetched at my friend "can i help you!?" For using the dang sink! She also screamed at me about no refills because i was holding my water bottle. I had only seen the sign when I got to the machine. I understand they'd get a ton of people refilling water bottles if they didn't have that rule but they could be a lot kinder. I walked out and haven't been back. My husband was there another day and they've locked their porta pottys. A Man came in explaining he was having major stomach issues and asking if she'd open it. She rudely said no and then told him "you're camping, stuff (not the word she used) happens, get over it". Again i understand rules although locking the porta potties seems extreme, but there's such thing as kindness and human decency. Just terrible people. Drive the few miles up to featherville, you won't regret it."
"I’m not sure why I see all the complaints of high prices of gas and common goods. It’s pretty normal for a small isolated town to have that. Other wise I thought they were very nice people there and if you are wondering they do accept credit cards."
"I just phoned the store to ask about purchasing hunting licenses and tags. They were more than helpful and friendly. Great place to do business."
"Staff is always helpful and friendly and they offer a number of items and services: snacks, soda/coffee bar, canned/boxed food items, auto, camping and fishing supplies, refrigerated and frozen food items, beer/wine/liquor, fish and game tags, gas/diesel/propane, ice, water toys, clothing, and more. Prices, I think, are a little high."
