Should sound simple enough for someone working at a hardware store but he looked at me like I have 3 heads and asked "1/2 inch what", I said "1/2 female to female connector". He still didn't get it. He asked "what's it for?" I told him "for a shower pipe". "Shower pipe?" He asked with total confusion and slight annoyance in his voice as if he's never heard of a shower pipe. I'm not gonna sit here and explain something self-explanatory to someone like he's a child so I left."
