"Just had a great night here! Their happy hour and daily deals are great! We had the scotch eggs, calamari, strawberry chicken salad and from their fresh menu - buffalo chicken zucchini boats. All was delicious, the boats were perfectly done. It was my first scotch egg experience so I can’t compare it but it was tasty. Will definitely be back for more happy hours!"
"Great Burger and cold Beer is all a man needs"
"Cozy fireplace, lots of tables, great atmosphere, excellent service, a popcorn machine and reasonable prices for Sunday brunch"
"I recently visited Poole’s while I was in town earlier this week and wow, some things don’t change and in the best way! Poole’s still has one of the best breakfasts in Spokane in my opinion. I ordered the Eggs Benedict like I have in previous visits. Our server was friendly and made sure we were taken care of and happy. Ambiance in Poole’s is sporty, lots of space, and great for big groups. My Eggs Benedict was perfect. Eggs were poached to perfection, toasted English muffin, tasty ham, delicious hollandaise sauce and crispy and hot hashbrowns. Thanks for the great visit, Poole’s!"
"Let me preface with the fact that my waiter Marcus H was phenomenal. Unfortunately, he had to do multiple job roles which I can’t imagine how difficult that was. (Bartender and waiter) Absolutely adored his Mighty Ducks sweater! Very prompt with service and engaging. He ran the show today, that’s for sure. I’m guessing he’s a manager or needs a serious pay raise. The waiter with the beautiful long dreads in the Spokane shirt served the larger group next to us and he was definitely spot on from what I could see. Great job! I hate to leave anything negative however, the food was sub-par at best. Kids grilled cheese: super dry bread, cheese needed to melt a little longer. Gator tots were very over fried. Fish and chips: The batter was mushy and lacked flavor. Needed salt. The cod inside was dripping and watery. I’m not sure how it was prepared but the fish really needed to be patted down/dried off before frying - It would have made a huge difference. It’s very possible that it comes precooked and frozen which is completely out of the cooks hands. Fries were Perfectly cooked which I know came fresh from the cook Alps: burger needed seasoning and lacked flavor all around. Arrived medium well done. The fries were very over fried.. it was basically chips at that point. My margarita was very stiff (No complaints here!!! I needed that!! Thank you!!!) as mentioned earlier, my waiter was right on the ball as I finished to check if I would like another. Overall, the atmosphere was fantastic and I think the choices of food were definitely right up my alley. This place has some serious potential! Just a few things to tweak in the long run. Honest review : 3.5/5"
