"Tacos stacked on tacos. Huge carne list. Al pastor was ok, carnitas was very good (my favorite), chorizo was good and the Chicharrones was spicy and fatty. Good little taco truck with a large menu. Priced well and they have two good types of salsa verde. Both with great flavor. The one called Diablo has a bit of heat to it. Great place to grab some lunch."

"Four tables are seated under a shade tree. They are not always in the shade, but mid-day only one was in the sun. The food is fresh. We each had three tacos. That was a mistake. We should have ordered two as they pack the heck out of those tacos. They serve them with a full set of green and red salsa and grilled, white onions. The chicken and asada (steak) are the most tender we have had anywhere. The adobada was delicious and not greesy. The cabeza (cheek) was a balance of fatty and lean and mild flavor, so I did use the spicier green salsa on it. The only thing I would say could be an improvement is some char edges would be nice. We paid twenty, even, for six overflowing tacos."

"I don’t think I’ve ever reviewed this place before and I don’t know why. It’s near my house, so eating there could be a matter of convenience, but it just isn’t, because I’d drive an hour to eat it! Very fresh and consistently delicious, El Chavo delights every single time. My only complaint is that they are cash only and I NEVER have cash. Probably good or I’d give them all of my money. I highly recommend El Chavo, if you haven’t tried it, do it asap. The shrimp salad is amazing, the fish tacos are my favorite, and I’ve heard great things about the pork tacos. Worth every cent and very friendly owners. 10/10 every time."
