"We went to get an oil change and tire rotation at Firestone 6690 Fairview Ave Boise, ID 83704. After a bit my spouse heard an odd thunking sound from the passenger rear of the vehicle. She had me looks at it, and noticed the lug nuts were on crooked. I attempted to remove them and put them back on. However they were so crooked I could not get the wrench on. Wife took it back and explained the situation. The man there said I was the one who stripped the lugs. My spouse explained we could not have stripped them, the wrench would not go on. The man tried and also could not get his wrench on the lugs. However he again insisted we stripped the lug nuts. Again my wife said we did not, it was your crew and the air wrench. The man got belligerent to the point of upsetting my spouse and daughter. The saga gets better, my spouse came home from work stating the wheel noise was back. We found the driver rear tire was held on by one lug nut, see picture. We had it towed to a different tire shops and they fixed the broken lugs. Stating someone was over exuberant with an air wrench. So the good deal on tires was not a good deal at all. I did not return to Firestone because they would have accused us doing the damage, and I would have told him other various unpleasant things. So why enter a pointless yelling match? So it goes without saying our business will go else where. This will be thousands of dollars over the course of my driving life not going to Firestone. Plus I will word of mouth this incident."
