"I was needing help with finding a make up brand. I found a Associate , and kindly asked if she could help me find it. She pointed at the other side of the store and told me “there is too much makeup brands for me to help you , it’s just to much but it’s over there” and when she was saying this she was extremely rude and Agitated that I even bothered her"

"Stylist Sierah was excellent make up artist too Cashies need to learn how to do math for gratuity. Even with a calculator she had no idea how to figure out 20% Come On !!!!"

"I’m from Canada and we don’t have Ulta there, so when I’m in the US I’m always excited to find a Ulta and shop. I found a few items and headed to the tills to pay. Kayla was my cashier. She told me they ran out of till tape so if I wanted a receipt I’d have to provide my email. I reluctantly agreed because I needed the receipt for customs. Then she asked me for my phone number. I said no thank you. She then told me that if I didn’t provide her my phone number I couldn’t return any of the items I was purchasing. Funny because when I looked at my e-receipt it said as long as I have the receipt I can return items. So is this a Ulta policy or is it a made up store/Kayla policy to try and get personal information from customers?"

"I am a long time loyal Ulta customer. Before my experience today, I never considered ending my shopping relationship with them. I went inside the CDA store location today just to look at sales and brand new items to try. I found a few new items and clearance items that I added to my basket. I went up to pay and the first two items they scanned came up as a different price at 50% off. The cashier asked another lady upfront for help. She came over looked at the item marked at clearance and rudely told me "No, that cannot be the price... let me look it up". She then picked up the same items and dramatically put it in the air and brought it closer to her face to look at the sale tag. She then turned back to me and said Nope her device told her that nope, it's regular price not either what it was ringing up or the marked price. And she told me she would absolutely not honor that. Under normal circumstances I would have gladly said okay and just not bought it. Her bluntly rude and condescending demeanor made me want to stand firm and purchase the items for the marked price. She told me I might be lucky enough for her to give it to me for the 50% off like it was ringing if she chooses to... but she was adamant that she would not honor the marked price. I asked to speak to her supervisor. She huffingly said she'll go ask the manager, but she knows she'll say the same thing! She was extremely rude. I felt super uncomfortable as the few other cashiers and people in line behind me stared at me as though I was doing something wrong. It was frustrating and humiliating ... a few minutes later, she came out rude as could be and said she will honor the price today but NEVER AGAIN IN THE FUTURE! I paid for my items and left. I honestly am reconsidering how comfortable I am with going back into that store or buying from Ulta again after that horrible experience. I absolutely love Ulta but I want to buy from an honest store that I feel comfortable shopping in. I'm so disappointed..."
