"Lab services were a nightmare. I have a disability and explained in detail to the phlebotomist exactly what help I needed from her in order to get through the blood draw without incident. She interrupted me several times, trying to tell me what she would do instead - and simply ignored the simple instructions I gave her - literally, I asked her to say 3 words & nothing more, and she couldn't even do that. She ended up triggering a major panic attack that left me unable to even drive home for more than an hour. Mercy really needs to provide trauma training for staff, especially those who perform procedures on patients. This was completely unacceptable."
