"By far the best restaurant meal I have had in years. And way out in rural Missouri. I've driven past them over the years without stopping......that will never happen again for sure. Best food and service (and price) you can imagine. To top it off, if you pay cash, you don't have to pay the 3% fee. Get the blackened shrimp and scallops with grits. It's incredible."

"What a great little place. Right on the banks of the Little Black River. The Black River is known to have the cleanest water of all the rivers in Missouri. The service made you feel right at home. The food was delicious. Their fries are better than McDonald's. No kidding. And don't overlook the homemade deserts at the counter."

We have tried their dinner which are great, but what really like are the breakfasts. Great places for breakfast on a Saturday morning. I have diet restrictions so I always get a omelet and they don't disappoint."
