"Great place for BBQ its a truck driver haven, good food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Free overnight parking, I've been going there years. Always consistent. Thank you BJ,'s"
"Breakfast buffet was $15.99 and had almost nothing on it. Burnt bacon & sausage, over hard fried eggs, runny powder scrambled eggs, hash browns, fried bologna and biscuits & gravy. The biscuits were the best thing on the buffet. Almost clear coffee and only powder creamer. If you’re not a regular you wouldn’t know who the employees were. Smoking allowed inside. NOT WORTH IT! Should’ve went to the TA instead."
"I stopped here today on my road trip down south for lunch. It had a relatively high rating for a truck stop restaurant, which I thought was weird, but I figured why not. It looked like a dump, but I assure you, it's the definition of a diamond in the rough. The lunch buffet was absolutely delicious, and for the price, it's totally worth it. Definitely don't judge this book by its cover. I plan on stopping here on my way back home. Highly recommend."
"I am not sure how this place got the good reviews that it did. They must have really loyal customers. We were passing through. We walked in and there is a small open buffet in the middle of the room. No lids on most everything. People walking in and out to pay for gas, use bathrooms, make purchases- all walk by the food. It looked like it had been there for some time. We did stay but we were not waited on. I asked a woman at a table in the back how we got breakfast. She said go pick up a Styrofoam plate and fix it. I asked about coffee and was told the machine was against the wall in the corner. I had to ask the price, also. $8.99 for a plate and $11.99 for the buffet. The fried eggs are hard, the scrambled eggs were runny, the ham dry and the sausage and bacon greasy. Coffee was extra (we found out when we paid). The women's toilets were clogged and they directed customers to another toilet rather than fix. The bathrooms were filthy and the restaurant/store not much better. We really wanted to like this place and were looking forward to a good breakfast. We were so disappointed."
"Pulled off here during a bad storm. Best piece of luck for me. Saw signs about the bbq. I really wanted a break and a cup of Joe. Went inside and saw the buffet. It looked and smelled very good. Everything on it was fresh. Oddly no BBQ on the buffet. Several truckers were eating there. They have tables for dining. Interior is not much. I got my coffee and asked about the BBq. It I was kept behind the counter. Got a smoked pork steak sandwich to go. Lightly sauced like I prefer. Choice of breads, I got Texas toast and they had peach cobbler of the buffet as a side. It was all delicious and reminded me of mom on the Friday before Mother’s Day weekend!"
