"EXTREMELY OVERPRICED!!! After my heating went out, I called Polar Aire due to their glowing reviews on service quality and fair pricing. Their tech came out, was very professional and quickly diagnosed the issue as a faulty control circuit board. Pricing for replacing the board was quoted at over $1,000. The board they replaced it with can be found online for under $200, and the job was completed in under 1 hour from when the tech arrived. This means that they charged $1,000 DOLLARS for a job that included a $200 part and ONE HOUR of labor! I asked the tech for an itemized breakdown of charges, but he replied that they don't offer this and instead have flat rate pricing for different services. If you want a fair price, save your money and shop elsewhere."
