"Baby Steps Academy has cared for our children since 2013 (we have 5). From our initial tour of the daycare at that time, we were confident that our children were in safe and caring hands. Since that time, the Tyler's have become like family. Our children experience play-based preschool education in a diverse environment. We highly recommend Baby Steps Academy."
"Baby steps has prepared my 4 year old for kindrgarten I have never been so excited. Everyone here is like family I would never pick another daycare for my children. They have learned and not only that love the home cooked meals yum! They met all my children needs and plus some."
"Love this daycare. My kids and nieces and nephews have all come here. I only trust them with my children. My kids have learned so much from coming here and were better prepared for school thanks to the daycare. We still come when they are out of school. They have a great movie day and do lots of fun activities! They also use the great program Ready Readers and they get fun books which is such a wonderful program and fostered my children's love of reading."
"My kids have been here for two months, I have the Child Care Subsidy. I pay $5/child/day. That's $10/day for me. Tell me why my first bill was $462 for December. My actual cost was supposed to be $170. I've been using the subsidy for years and have never had a problem. I asked her why I have to pay so much more, she droned on about a sliding fee but she didn't know my income. I've also asked multiple times if there's a copay, the answer is no. That cost would literally render my kids and I without food. She finally got a magic letter in the mail that said I only have to pay her the $10/day. I did not receive or see said letter, but it came after I contacted my state rep. Now I'm paying her for January, $200. She says she didn't receive the payment after I received multiple confirmations that she did, in fact, receive it. Started accusing me of fraud. Really? No, what you're doing is fraud. You didn't sign a contract with me or go over anything, you just demand more money. You mistreat my oldest daughter when I have repeatedly told you she was broken and needed compassion, not cruelty and Belinda Tyler made her sit in the room staring at her blank tablet screen on multiple occasions accusing her of lying about when her class time starts back up. There's a written schedule that has been provided to the daycare. She made my daughter sleep in the dining room area, alone, and then let her overhear her talking about me, saying she hates me. When I told my oldest that she wouldn't be going there any more, she cried from relief for an hour. I don't care what the reasons are for Belinda's behavior, It's wrong and inappropriate. It might even be illegal. Mr. Nick is awesome, but he's only a small part of the equation here."
"It really should be a zero! They appear to be helpful & nice which they are the complete opposite! They bath the babies before you get there because they sit them in car seats all day & rarely change them! My son attended this daycare for two months & it was awful! The husband complains about being there all day. He drinks I caught him taking beer into the daycare. It’s bad do not take your kids here! They misplace your kids things, my son was sent home wet clothes & car seat several times! I could go on & on. These people are crooks!"
