"Haha, wow, this complex is still opened!?!? Yuck! I lived here with my mom from 1998-2002. No matter how much we cleaned , shined, and complained to management, there were roaches. Terrible, roaches were infested there then, and by reading these reviews, it looks like the whole complex took a turn for the worse. Don't bother, our first floor apartment even had mice running around. Thank God my mother dumped this place and left, like anyone should."

"Do you have 6 legs? Do you have a thick exoskeleton? Do you crawl around on your belly? If that sounds like you than you are most likely a roach and this is the trash heap for you! I honestly don't know where to begin. There have been periods of 1-5 days where I've gone without hot water, or cold water, any water at all, or a furnace. Of course, the landlord does not notify you of this. I've called to complain and get a "yeah, we know about it". The landlord literally cut the Charter cable because he was upset with Charter and did not inform me he would do so. In fact, I had to call Charter myself and ask for a new cable. Currently, I'm having an issue with my toilet that keeps leaking from the base. I've called the emergency phone number 8 times in a 36 hour period and with no response. There is also a roach infestation (killed 2 this morning before my daily coffee). The neighborhood is also going south. The cops are by the apartment at least once every 2 weeks. People have banged on my door in the middle of the night. There is public intoxication. You're across the street from a bowling alley with a bar, so there is drunk driving. Also, the train will park across the train tracks for up to an hour during peak traffic times. Look somewhere else for an apartment. Weil Garden Apartments is unsafe, utilities are not guaranteed, management isn't managing, and you essentially pay for a roach nest."

"Ever since it's been under new ownership it's going down hill fast. Repairs are started but NEVER finished. The grass no longer gets cut. Trash everywhere. Thin walls. Owners have a better then thou attitude. Roach problem. RUN as fast you can from this one. Landlord is RUDE."
