"There is a rental listed in Overland Park so I contacted. I began with a brief introduction, then asked a few questions about pet policy and a few other things that agencies typically leave up front in their property description, but I wasn't finding. They did respond quickly, but gave me no answers, only replied with questions about us. I replied, then I believe followed up with a couple more questions, as well as again asking the pet policy. They responded with a request to fill out a renter profile, again answering no questions or even acknowledgeing anything I had written. I filled out the profile on Zillow, then they replied with asking about my dog. I had been trying to have this conversation from the jump, because I don't like wasting time or having my time wasted. I replied, then nothing. No response. I don't even have a restricted breed dog, nor is she big. To not respond is so unprofessional. In the future, I would advise answering inquiries if you are trying to sell something to someone. I let them know, even if they prefer no dogs (which they should put in the description) word of mouth is still the best advertisement. Businesses make the mistake of burning bridges they don't think they will ever use, but when in a business dealing with the public EVERYONE can be an assest. It felt either pretentious or disorganized. Either way, was able to tick them off my list."
