"1 star is too deserving. My wife and I were told that we HAD to put down a deposit before we could look at this apartment that was under construction. So we had no idea what we were getting in to. They take our deposit and I go check out this 2b2b flat, it's pitifully small and way overpriced. Here I am a couple days later after discussing it with my wife and her finally seeing it and she's equally unhappy. They won't give us our deposit back or let someone else take over the lease even though NEITHER OF US HAVE SIGNED ANYTHING BINDING US TO IT. We STILL have not signed anything and we're being told that nothing can be done for 2 weeks when the owner gets back, and that's IF anything can be done, which I doubt will happen because they just keep toting that he's a realty lawyer. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice area and I'm sure the apartment would be fine for a single parent or elderly person, but not anyone else and nothing is being done. I would not recommend Deerfield Crossing, The Reserve, or Sage Meadows as a company to my worst enemy."

"Very unfortunate experience with leasing at the Reserve. Started great, Gloria was great and very accommodating. I lost my position at work and had no income to pay the lease. Gloria explained if I found a qualified candidate to lease, I could transfer my lease. New management calls a few months later telling me I can’t do this and that it’s illegal; as if I were being sketchy about it. An interested party would call and I would forward them to the property manager. I believe Management should stand behind what was communicated regardless of who is the current manager. During my time, I found mold in my apartment. Management has been contacted multiple times regarding this mold and given an ‘inspection’ which included no remedy. I have been putting the Lease on a credit card I cannot pay for an apartment I cannot live in. Caveat emptor."

"We had a aweful experience here. We scheduled a time to view Brookland luxury rentals and Ashlee Betts did the showing. She was 45 min late to show us the house. All she did was say she was late because she had to mess with an 80 year old man...that couldn't do anything. Then she asked us if we wanted to fill out an app. We went to the office and as we were filling an app out, she stayed on the phone with someone evidently complaining about how bad there experience was. She hung up and told us we had to hurry up and finish. I then asked her if I could use her restroom before we left...she said she really didn't have time. I said ok, she then said "well go ahead. I said no I am fine. The whole time we were there she called my husband by the name Kevin, HIS NAME IS BRIAN! Anytime we asked a question why we were filling our app out she stayed on the phone and just ignored are question. They really dont even deserve one star. As we were there the more calls she made she was so scattered brain her answers were ridiculous. Horrible place to do bussiness!!! And are application fee was just taken for nothing. WE DESERVE A SINCERE APOLOGY."
