Holiday Inn Jonesboro, an IHG Hotel

"Rooms were good as long as you don’t mind inconsiderate neighbors. The breakfast was deplorable. A desk clerk trying to do those duties and take orders. Unable to order a soft drink even though it’s on the menu because I would have to buy it at the front desk. Hubs ordered waffles which were not hot and were hard. He says coffee was good. I ordered a three egg build an omelet. Choice of meat cheese and three veggies. The omelet was the smallest, thinnest 3 egg omelet ever. I think it was quail eggs. The veggies were spinach, tomato and mushroom. The spinach was nothing but stems, the mushroom was nonexistent and the two pieces of tomato I got were cooked to the point of being mush. Final insult was instead of American cheese, I got cheddar. We had to hunt the desk clerk down to get our bill. Cracker Barrel is across the street eat there. Truly disappointed with our stay."

"This is a freshly renovated property and every aspect of the property was as expected. It was very close to ample food options and the staff was friendly. We had a relaxing stay and we're on our way."

"Paid $156 for one night. This hotel doesn't have a continental breakfast and I was told that the restaurant opened at 6 am. That didn't happen. The shower walls were disgusting, the wallpaper in the room was coming apart. The towels are tattered with excessive wear holes. It smelled like feet. This was a horrible experience, I would NOT recommend staying at this place."

"The front desk staff are very sweet, kind, and professional. The lobby is also super nice and modern. Decorated well. There's a super nice patio aware with TVs and couches just off the lobby. I assume it's used when people are hosting events at the hotel. But, there were empty beer cans everywhere. The "restaurant " is also a super nice area that's only used during breakfast. Breakfast was sad. It's supposed to be a sit down restaurant but would be better off as a buffet. They didn't have half the items on the menu and the solo employee running everything clearly didn't want to be there either. The room, while clean, was incredibly cramped. It was like they have a checklist of items that each room has to have so they stacked everything in there. There was no room to move as is and if you opened the refrigerator or moved the desk chair, there was no space period. It'd be much more comfortable with only one bed instead of two."

"The front desk staff was great, but the room and the common areas were not clean. On the room in particular, it was clear that basic cleaning had not been done. There were crumbs on the counter, leftover hair in the hair dryer, dirty residue on the mirror, no toilet paper on the roll, and the floors in the bathroom and entryway were disgusting. My husband wiped the floor with a wet paper towel and the paper towel came up almost black. Again the front desk staff was super kind and this is not their fault. We communicated these concerns with them when checking out, and they said we were not the first to offer this feedback. They said they’d offer the feedback to their management team. We hope the management makes the necessary changes, as the hotel is newer and could be great. In the meantime, if you want a clean room, you may want to go elsewhere."
