"We had to get this room last minute due to some negative unforseen circumstances. The check-in person was good in comparison to a good number of motels/hotels in the area. It was late at night and she was able to get us in. The price was seemingly a bit much, but ok and she didn't have a bad attitude which I appreciate very much. At first glance the room looked nice. It has a nice set up is a light grey neutral color in both the room and white and grey in the bathroom. It did wreak of cigarette smoke though very thick and heavy but not suffocating. It was a smaller room with one double bed, a med size t.v, small fridge, and microwave. The fridge and microwave worked as well as the t.v. and had a remote which also worked. There was also an a/c that was easy the use and worked very well even with the high humidity at the time. They do have a smoke alarm that wasn't hooked up it was beside the microwave. This room was quiet but pretty dirty, even the windows were grimey in comparison to various other places I've lodged at. The bed covers felt moist, clamy and wasn't comfortable to cover with. The bed itself and bottom sheets were alright. I checked for bed bugs with a flashlight on all sides, corners, underneath the covers between the mattress and the bed itself but it was clear of them from what I could see. There was crumbs and visible dirt on the bathroom floor as well and shower had soap scum and the sink didn't drain after washing my hands. There was no shampoo or conditioner, just 2 small bars of soap individualIy wrapped. There was on trash can in main area not in bathroom. There wasn't an ice machine, so there no plastic bins for ice in the room. Also, no coffee maker or hair dryer. There is a place to hang clothing but no hangers or any other common accessories, just soap. Our room price after tax was $87. and some change. We were able to check in around 3 am on Wednesday and check out at 11 am on Thursday. I apologize as the photos I got weren't very good."
