"Meheli Pines has been a great place for my daughter and I to call home. She loves the space she has in her room and the pool during warm weather months. For myself, knowing that the owners are able to be reached easily is great for emergencies when you have a little one. Apartments are maintained nicely and neighbors are respectable. I've had packages unexpectedly left at my doorstep and when I arrived home rather late that night they were there. Apartment's maintenance were helpful for me to move furniture and discard old furniture. The more than a year and a half I've spent here has been great."
"I’ve lived at Meheli Pines for 3 years, the owners work very hard to resolve issues with maintenance as soon as the tenants let them know. Some wait for weeks before telling them and then expect to fix that day when we have 52 units here. Others have issues due to they do not keep their units cleaned. The grounds and pool are kept manicured and the City of Springfield gave us high praise on our pool care. We take pride in keeping the pool clean daily during the summer. More plants and vegetation have been added to add beautification. We have long time tenants and professional, it’s quiet and great place to live. The area offer shopping, restaurants, close to the bus line and easy access to hwy 65."
"Meheli Pines has received several one star reviews with accompanying untrue allegations from disgruntled former tenants who had to either be evicted and/or who lost a court case. Some reviews are from persons who have never rented at Meheli Pines. Our apartment community is a fine one with many long term tenants and one of the best pools in Springfield."
"Every building has a black mold problem. The swimming pool is filthy; the water was slightly murky the few times I swam. The washing machines and dryers break down often. There is only one washer and one dryer per building. Premises are not well kept. Cops often get called for suspicious behavior from tenants. Had several things stolen while living there; even had a small $2 plant outside the front door stolen."
