"It’s a great place to live if you’ve never lived in an apartment, just so you can establish a base line. At first it’s great because you notice no rules are enforced. I.e you can park in covered parking spots with out being fined or towed, the gates are never closed, people are free to break in to vehicles with no repercussions. Respectfully they do ask that you pick up your dogs dropping which is what you should do but make sure to have your own doo doo bags as they go weeks without refilling the bag dispenser and also expect to walk to the dumpster as they NEVER empty the dog poo bins. I have watched them go by, look at them and then keep going. The staff will show concern but never act with urgency on anything unless you raise cane. Management is a joke as they want the staff to like them so they don’t hold them accountable to actually do their job, they would rather just get paid to hang in the office or in the office garage to get out of doing work. There needs to be some serious changes in the way they conduct their business or clean slate and hire individuals that take the job serious. All in all DO NOT move here. Get in touch with me and I will direct you to communities that care about their place Update2/14/24 I was heated at the moment of my last review, and let it all out at once which respectfully I am embarrassed about. Yes, things were a little aggravating but it is what it is, things happen. The rent is cheap compared to any other complex in the area when it comes to sqft and how updated things are, you won’t find a better price for the quality. Every morning for the past 2 weeks before the office is even open I have seen the staff as well as the manager out picking up trash as well as pet droppings (which per contract is our responsibility as residents) you won’t see any other apt employees doing that anywhere else or at least I haven’t. They truly do care about their residents as well as the apartments for the fact of they do listen to our Karen complaints and look to rectify the issues in a timely manor. I’m not saying it’s a perfect place, there will always be issues no matter where you live but I would absolutely recommend living here. It’s in a great location, you have everything you need within a mile and all in all it’s a great community of residents and staff."
"Trust me and stay at a different apartment complex. For the monthly price it is not worth it and this is the worst one I’ve ever stayed at. No one cleans up after their dog and you are constantly stepping in dog poop if you walk on the grass. Not many trash cans on the property and I have to walk a good distance to throw my trash away. Hard to find parking near your apartment. There was also one week they had issues with their fire alarm system and it was alarming multiple times for a prolonged period of time and throughout the day. Let’s not forget there was a car arson on the property. Someone started a fire in the back of someone’s truck. It is a “gated community” that leaves their gates wide open all day everyday for anyone to come and go as they please. The front gate for guests is not user friendly either, they have to scan a QR code and it gets sent to the residents phone and you have to approve it that way. A code would have been easier especially if you’re not tech savvy. The doors are codes and not keys which is unfortunate because the very first day I moved in they did not bother changing the batteries. You would think on day on move it they would replace batteries and have everything in working order and check on that. One of the workers also told me my one bedroom apartment would have a storage closest on the balcony and it was frustrating on move in day when that was incorrect. And all I got was an apology saying those are for the two bedrooms not the one bedroom. I was expecting more storage space on move in and that was not the case due to their error. Apartment walls here are also PAPER THIN, I’m on the third floor to avoid the noises but you can hear everything from your side neighbors so that’s unfortunate. Maintenance went into my apartment and felt inclined to use my bathroom toilet, how do I know this? They left the toilet seat lid up… pretty unprofessional and inappropriate. I can go on and on about this apartment complex. Trust me and go elsewhere!"
"I have lived the Palisades for 2 years and I’ve always felt like they truly cared. Pedro in the office has been a huge help, he always gone out of his way to make sure that me and my family are well taken care of and that any issues have been handled in a timely manner. I believe Pedro and his team need to be recognized and compensated for all they do."
"Of course, there will be normal wear and tear after living in an apartment for a month, but to charge someone almost $800 worth of damages and completely use up the $400 deposit is wild. If you're paying a monthly “pet deposit/rent” of $40 a month (almost $500 in 12 months), shouldn't that also go towards it? What is the pet rent even for? What I’m being charged for: $280 to repaint $100 to replace one set of blinds (which is my dog's fault) 270$ to replace the carpet $80 for cleaning fees Rent is already high enough, but I guess they need extra money to go towards the gates that never worked or add more parking since my guests always had issues with parking near my apartment. I could go on about this place, but I hope I can help someone from throwing their money away."
"Every review I have left has been 5 stars. This is my first 2 star review. I don’t like to do it. The reason for 2 stars is because the company was really hard to work with. We had multiple units leased for employees of the company I work for. One of my reps signed a short term lease because he was only working out there for a few months. Pedro Leon, one of the office workers helped him set it up. Upon departure he asked if we’d turn in a notice to vacate form. When that was complete we were informed that this was a year lease and the employee was charged for the remainder of the year. Which was very wrong to do that to a young guy who was told by Pedro his lease was good to go. My move out fees were about $900 bucks sent to my email and texted to me. My phone number changed during this time, however I didn’t pay the move out fees. Which was totally my fault. They turned my unpaid fees into collections, as anyone would. The problem was when I called to see what debt company I could call to settle on payments they would not give me that information. The guy said he didn’t have access to that information and would need to return my call. It’s been over a week and I’ve tried to reach out to the office not having any luck nor has a member of the staff reached out. Other than that, Finding a parking spot every night was always tough and had a long walk back to my unit. The apartments are really nice that’s why I’m giving it 2 stars. If it were me I would just clean house and re staff because I’m very disappointed in who I worked with."
