"If I could render a score lower than one star I would. This practice has been ran to the grown. Dr. Yassin had built such a professional ,friendly, family, and supportive environment for, this new Dr. to dimmish her legacy. Dr. Ahmed has no bedside manner, is not professional, and lacks empathy to care for one of the most vulnerable populations; Children. He is boarder line neglectful. A patient came in experiencing headaches, the parent informed Dr. Ahmed and his professional advice was to have the parent take the child to the ER for a MRI. The parent had just paid a co-pay for visit; just to be sent back out to pay another copay for an ER visit. Last I checked a Dr can order imagery. The office phone majority of the time is forwarded to his personal cell phone (which the voicemail is full), he explained that is only due to calls after or before hours, however I have called during office hours and yet the call was forwarded to his cell. When questioned regarding the actual office hours, he expressed 9AM-5PM. I called at 9:50AM and his excuse was his secretary comes in late. I would not refer anyone to this practice. Even the physical up keep of the facility has gone down drastically since Dr. Yassin retiring. Do your research before entrusting your child(s) to this Dr."

"Dr. Makin Ahmed is very friendly and caring. He understands the situation and giving proper treatment and encouragement for my son. He is always available on text and getting early appointment based on the needs. Sometimes he used to give samples and that helps to start using immediately. Later we can find that in pharmacy. I recommend Dr. Makin."

"Sunshine Pediatrics has the nicest environment with the most caring medical staff. I have been going here for years and the quality of service provided never diminishes. I never have to wait for more than five minutes before someone attends to me in the waiting room. It is a nice change from some doctors who keep patients waiting as if we have nothing else going on! Dr. Ahmed has been very helpful and caring over my past few visits and you can tell he is very experienced. The rooms are very kid-friendly and clean. It is very clear that Sunshine Pediatrics cares about their patients and the patients' families as well! Never in my 12 years of coming here have I had a complaint. I would 100% recommend switching to Sunshine Pediatrics for your child's pediatric needs. Thank you Dr. Ahmed and the working staff for the amazing service."

"I was very sad that Dr. Mona Yassin retired. She was a great doctor. But Dr. Makin Ahmed has been a wonderful replacement. I truly appreciate how he is available at all times and I can walk-in at any time for an appointment. This is the first time I have had a pediatrician text me and my husband to follow up on my children’s health. He has also allowed us to text him for advice when our children are sick. He is truly a very helpful and caring doctor."
