Reviews
"The volunteers that help manage the Arch and its nature trails have done an outstanding job keeping it clean and inviting. Big renovations are coming soon. The arch is a peaceful and scenic area to walk around at. It holds both historical and memorial significance to Kansas City."
"Nice trails to walk. Nice view of the city"
"Great monument and fascinating story. Honor those who sacrificed everything for freedom. And gaze out on the gorgeous KC skyline. Further, you can go for a walk in the woods. Unfortunately, some people leave litter and graffiti but don’t let it put you off."
"Great Memorial, Peaceful, well lit, park area, you can have a picnic, seating, lots of beautiful trees. Has some over growth and has changed over the years. Cutting some of the trees back would help with the view and paths but not too much. Or maybe it's ok just how it is? Neighbors should decide."
"The views from this almost forgotten site are spectacular, and they could be even better if whatever government agency is responsible for maintenance did some repairs to the crumbling terraces, the grounds surrounding the Memorial Arch, and the road leading up to it. In other cities, the Memorial Arch is a place of civic pride; unfortunately, this one seems to be have be abandoned, and that is a genuine shame."
