"I show up , @ 10:30, stay till 11, walk completely around the block. No signs of life. Bulletin said there'd be a mass. Should really straighten bulletin out. Very disappointing!"
"If want to praise God. This is the church you should attend."
"(being honest) As a black Catholic, there aren't many churches that I've gone to and felt like I wasn't being stared at like a novelty item and that the priest was truly focused on God and not trying to just rush through mass. Fr. Art does a good job of making people feel comfortable."
"Fr. Cavitt is a pure joy to listen to! Recently one of the speakers at the Catholic Men's for Christ which was at UMSL St. Louis at the Touhill Center. His inspirational from the heart talk went on for over 50 minutes (seemed like 15).Father has a great command of his voice and broke out into song several times. In his talk he invited us down to his church. I attended today 2/19/17 and found the people to be very welcoming and very friendly. This not like most Catholic Churches you might attend. People are very outgoing and friendly. During the part of the Mass where you greet your neighbor EVERYBODY in church makes time to say hello and say a nice word or two. May I mention the choir, ok I just did. More like a small version of the Mormon tabernacle choir. Very professional and very enjoyable. A couple of times the music almost made me cry. I think that accurately describes my visit today. I had only been there one other time and that was with my wife on Mob Mass Sunday, which that reminds me of one last thing. Father asked if there was anyone new in church and went out and greeted and interviewed those that were new. How much more welcome can you get? God Bless Fr. Cavitt and his Church and the parishioners!"
"Very welcoming and very friendly people. I'm glad I chose to join them while I was in town for a wedding. Thank you for having me and making me feel welcome!"
