"I lived at the apartments on the corner of South Maguire Street and Hamilton. DO NOT TRY IT. Looks like a nice place during the day when they show you around - but at dusk, cockroaches crawl from every crevice. They seemed to just materialize from nowhere my first night there. This is how I learned male roaches can fly. I did not sleep for 2 nights. I was not told about them until the first day when I arrived for my keys. They claimed they did not know I was coming even though I called them 2 days beforehand. That's when they said they hadn't sprayed yet for roaches. "What?" With plug-in pest repellent, flyswatters, poison spray, and baits (large AND small sizes) combined I barely had the roach population under control until I was ready to move out. But I never got rid of them. Even when I hadn't seen them it's only because they could move over to the next apartment. I found roach eggs on my dishes. Absolutely awful. The landlord had some one come in and spray a couple times, but it was just some guy that splashed a little solution on the floor in like - two spots. Which didn't even smell... so it might as well have been water for all the good it did. We also ended up getting bedbugs as well; an absolute pain in the ass to handle. I'm not exaggerating - we woke up everyday with more tiny bite marks. Aside from pests, the doors did not seal completely, and I could not get the stickiness off the kitchen floor. Which I learned might be residue from roach legs.. You have no contact from the landlord/s other than a note on the front door every so often when they want to do maintenance. By the way the internet service they provide is terrible. Not good when you have schoolwork. It hardly EVER worked. The only good thing about this place was having two balconies... but its not worth it. This place earns one pathetic star for putting a roof over my head."

"Beware of these shysters. They will put you up in a nasty, unclean, bug/rodent infested house apartment. I lived in a house owned by them in Warrensburg, MO while going to school. Their idea of a "cleaning crew" is a lady and her three kids ranging from 6-10 years old. The maintenance people will steal and go through your stuff if you're not around. When we left they basically stole our deposit for B.S. reasons. If you go through any rental service in Warrensburg I would recommend Rich Rentals. At least they were up front and not shady."
