FJC Apartments

"Recently, I’ve been trying to get an apartment at FJC apartments and on the website I signed up for one that I could move in to on March 29th. I called on Monday and they said they would have the lease to sign sent to my email either that day or Tuesday depending. But it’s Friday now and I’ve called everyday and left voicemails only to not have been called back. Even if they needed more time to formulate the lease, it’s good service just to let the future tenant know that rather than ignoring them all together. I’m military and PCSing to my first duty station and trying to find a place to live on time, so not being able to hear back from them is adding onto the stress and I’m wondering if I’m simply wasting my time trying to get an apartment here. Makes me wonder if I should avoid this place and find another place nearby. If I get some more information or if there is a certain reason this is happening I will update my review appropriately."

"This is the worst apartment complex to rent from. They are so unreliable, and they only care about making money. Not a single person I worked with was professional and they barely knew what they were doing. They charged us for things they never even mentioned, and refused to give us our deposit back over something minuscule. Don’t count on management to ever show up, and don’t expect things to be updated when they say they are. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend this complex to anyone."

"Apartments are very poorly painted and the trim work is very poorly done. There is a mold problem and bugs. Price of rent plus all the extras is not worth it to live here."

"It’s like living in a college dorm, management is downright rude and extremely nosy. The trim in the apartment is equivalent to that of a Casey’s bathroom and the ceiling seems to get worse and worse each month because of moisture. The apartments and tenants are obviously an afterthought and money is the only thing these people care about. If you plan on living in a nice low cost apartment complex go somewhere else."

"Would avoid renting from this company. Had leaking bathroom ceiling whole time at candlelight (literally had part of the ceiling fall into the tub at one point). The bathroom constantly had water on the floor from the ceiling leaking. One of the two dryers didn't work when we moved out. Worn carpets. Roaches. The apartment we were being moved into changed and the one we were put in wasn't very well cleaned or repaired. We paid pet deposits and left the apartment squeaky clean. We even bought a new blind for one if the bedrooms. Still were changed over $700 in pet damage after move out. We've always gotten deposits back because of how well we clean and take care. Considering that we lived in an apartment with a hole in our bedroom wall for months (up to and including the day we moved out), it is hard not to feel we are being charged as a way to get money to fix some of issues in the apartment. Would not suggest moving in here."
