"I enjoy the property! I've lived in two different units since 2018 and it's nice, clean, and in a good location. If something breaks, it gets fixed. The biggest problem is that management seems to change hands frequently. But there's a long term employee who is amazing and is communicative as long as you're respectful. The other residents can really stink, but what can you do? Again, for apartments, this place is great."
"I lived here for about a year and Williamsburg Square deserves an honest review. When it comes to reviews most people will only do one for the negative things to try and get someones attention, I kept this in mind while apartment hunting. A lot of the reviews were especially negative towards one of the office personal, who now is no longer with the company. The complex is a few minutes from the highway, plenty of shopping and food within 5 minutes. It's back behind a strip mall, pretty quiet spot. Might hear a loud car or an emergency vehicle on Noland, but again not bad at all. The parking lots are in pretty decent shape. There is covered parking you can pay for a premium and most of it is on the north side of the facility. On the south side there is only a handful. During the daytime there are normally plenty of parking spaces available, then after work things will start to fill up a little bit. I was never to the point where I could not find a spot though. I never had any vehicle break-ins or saw any while I was there. It looks like they have been working on remodeling the apartment buildings themselves. I can definitely tell that there is new siding on all the buildings. Some of the AC units look a little older, but I do see some newer looking ones as well. The wood railings all look to be in decent shape outside the apartments. Some of the wood boards for the stairs looked like they could use replacing soon but still in sturdy condition. The windows in my apartment were a little outdated, but some thick curtains on the inside help to keep some of the heat and cold out. I had an apartment with an oven from decades ago, but it still worked great. Fridge worked well, had a fireplace, dishwasher, and the best part of the whole thing was the apartment came with a clothes washer and dryer. The convenience of not having to go to my parents or a laundromat was amazing. I keep my temperature during the summer up to around 76, and during the winter I had it around 68, never had a problem with heating or cooling. Every apartment has its highs and lows, and it will be different for each person. So here is mine. I was on a bottom floor and surrounded by apartments on all sides except the front. The walls could be a little thin at times if neighbors were being a little loud you could hear pretty well. I could also tell at times that there was someone who would be smoking marijuana. The noise I didn't mind too much because it didn't happen often and I understand that living in an apartment you're bound to hear people from time to time. And the marijuana smell, I got covid while living there and completely lost the ability to smell; so that unfortunately fixed itself lol. I went out of town at one point and had a friend watching my place and my cats for me. While I was gone a water main had broken and nasty water started coming up through the pipes in the closet. My friend was able to get ahold of the office to get this taken care of. Within a few days the water and mess had been cleaned up, carpet replaced, and when I returned it seriously looked like nothing had happened at all. Props to them for getting this taken care of in a timely manner. The office personal were very professional and friendly. I was able to get in to view the apartments within a day. Anytime they needed something or I needed something we were able to communicate and resolve things quickly. PLEASE keep in mind that there are only a couple of people for the entire complex. I'm sure they have a lot to handle; I always give at least a day for communication and they always responded within that timeframe. When moving out they were very easy to work with too. I gave my notice, we did our walkthrough, and that was that. I really did enjoy living there and the only reason I moved was for cheaper opportunities. They told me that they liked the condition I left the apartment in and if I ever wanted to go back they would love me to. What I have to say to that is if I am ever looking again (outside of purchasing a house), they will be the first place I check out."
"My heating and cooling unit is 20+ years old , it has been not working properly and efficiently my electric bill has increased 150 dollars a month not including the late fees and they refuse to replace it. And said it's working fine. I've told management several times I can't handle all the extra payments because on top of this I pay an extra 100-150 dollars in late fees by management!!"
"Apartments are nice when everything works properly, but my brothers AC unit stopped working right and they sent someone to test it , and they lied stating nothing is wrong, still cant keep his apartment cool (under 80) and they will not do anything to help. Stating there is a heat wave and everyone one is having trouble keeping their house cool. NOT TRUE ! my 2 bedroom house is keeping cool just fine , but maybe if the apartment complex didn't have 30 year old AC units, then they could keep up and keep a one bedroom apartment cool. Don't live here, the ladies in the office are trash and laugh in your face when you complain to them. It makes you feel like they are don't care about your quality of living, But I'm sure they go home to a cold house every night."
