"The perfect hotel if traveling with pets to Kansas City. This place is the perfect distance from down town where it’s not busy and congested but still only takes 15-20 minutes to get downtown. Breakfast was delicious and had a great selection of options. The staff was extremely friendly and best of all the room was clean! We traveled with our dog and the hotel was very dog friendly. It is an additional $25 a night for dogs but well worth it. There is also a bar in the hotel but we didn’t check it out. The walking path around the lake behind the hotel is gorgeous and it was fun to see lots of wildlife including deer and geese."
"Nice (convenient and picturesque) location with plenty of parking. The rooms were clean & comfortable, the conference rooms worked well for the event I was attending. There were several places to eat nearby, options for shopping, and a nice path around the waters edge for taking a stroll/run. The staff were nice and helpful at every interaction. Hotel offers buffet style breakfast and there is a nice bar just off the lobby. Pool, hottub, and workout facility on site (which I did not use, but other patrons said were good)."
"We stayed here for 3 nights. It was a business/pleasure trip. The family came down and made a trip out of it. We stayed in the junior suite. It’s a nice room with lots of space, enough that my brother’s family was able to come up and hang out in our room. That’s what we were looking for. I love the rustic type theme of the hotel. Our room had a King bed with a pull out couch. I did attend a conference there and the conference aspect was pretty nice as well. My kids loved the pool. The indoor/outdoor is a fun touch. The hot tub was nice and hot as well."
"I had a great experience. I found out a day prior that I had my reservation wrong and they were able to change the reservation with no problem. Friendly service with a smile made me feel right at home. The event venue was ample and run seamlessly."
"My family and I came for the Silver Gloves Championship. It’s a nice looking hotel. However, I was very disappointed that they did not have stay over room service for the 4 days we stayed, specially on a weekend like this. If there’s not going to be room service for events like this, then there needs to be at least a broom with a dust pan in each room. The guest laundry room needs an update with at least a change machine. I wanted to do laundry and the front desk or anywhere near had change. Overall, it is in a great location and the staff was nice."
