"This is now a 55 & above community. So much has changed & continues. Manager lives & breathes at making a difference. It shows. I have been here 13 years. Not going anywhere. Just gets better & better. Couldn't ask for a better managerial staff, not to mention top notch maintenance.."

"This is the first apartment that I really Advocated for myself instead of relying on Comprehensive first. I talked to Dixie received my Application.went through everything with her. She told me that we were a few hundred short of the needed 3 X the rent but she would talk to the owner. When she got back with me she said that the Owner would be OK with the lower income if we would pay the last months rent. I said that I would do that and that Comprehensive would pay deposit and first months rent. I then talked to Comprehensive they ran it by the Apartment Specialist they said OK. I made by the arrangements to give her the Application,our award letters and the $40 fee on Saturday morning and was so relieved that I did this by MYSELF. THEN on Monday night I get a PHONE CALL from Dixie saying that the Owner said we were not able to help us. My Heart just dropped. We have NEVER been late on Rent no NEVER EVICTED. We are 63 and 67. We really needed this place Well they are $40 to the Better."

"I have lived at Gaslight Square Apartments since 2008. It's always been a Great place to live for me! I see people on here complaining about this place, yet I can't imagine why. Unless they themselves were a bit disgruntled because they couldn't follow rules. Places are what you make them!I have No problems with my neighbors, and the current manager we have now, will bend over backwards to assure that if something needs to get fixed, or there's a problem, it gets addressed promptly! If all of those other complaints were true at ALL, would I still be living here?? I don't think so! Gaslight Square Apartments has reasonably priced rents, for Nice sized apartments, with the conveniences of being close to stores! Walking distance even! ***And No, there are No people standing around drinking *** We don't put up with such things, there Are some children living here also. So...I have No clue what these other people are talking about, unless it took place before 2008!"

"Great place to live....the apartments are clean, fresh paint, carpet and very clean. The rooms are bigger than other apartment complexes in the same price range, you get more for your money !! Very convenient to stores and the schools if you have children. Highly recommended for any single person or if you have a family ! The manager lives onsite and is always able to resolve any problems you might have quickly. * On a side note some of the crude negative remarks left by individuals on here have NOTHING to do with the apartments or the manager, the responsible individuals are being childish and trying to personally hurt the manager in anyway possible simply because they failed to pay rent or they broke the rules in the contract they signed and after failing to fix said problem .... they choose to leave. *"
