"This has awful management. They do not even allow you to see the apartments before hand. They do not fix things properly before moving in. The management is absolutely terrible. They do not answer calls or emails. It is absolutely ridiculous. Honestly the price is good but for what you have to deal with. Get an overpriced one. Cause at least then the management will be good."

There are several friends of mine in our specific building and a lot of others that directly speak to Michelle's management style. She is there when any one of us calls with needs. What's more important is she returns your voicemails in a timely manner. She doesn't just say 'it" will get done. She follows through with us and keeps us updated UNTIL 'it' gets done. She is honest, and will walk you through the 'how' we can make it happen with anyone. She advocates for us, the renters in a professional manner representing respectfully her Mangement company Canyonview."

"I rate the apartment overall 3 stars. I rate the the new manager Michelle 5 stars. So 4 stars overall now. Things have and are improving here since Michelle took over a few months ago. The manager before was nice but a change was needed. It has been nice to call the office and the property manager pick up the phone. Also if you leave a message it's returned that day or the next morning. I've lived here since November. I've had my fair share of things happen/things not been fixed like I was told they would be. With that said for the price not a bad place to live. Neighbors are all friendly, maintenance are friendly, in a great location,and safe. I've lived in multiple apartment complexes, and can say that the amount of parking spaces for each building and having 2 dumpsters at every building is unique. Laundry facilities in each building; which is nice; but an outside company maintains the equipment. They do a poor job at that. Always seems to be a washer or dryer broke. Sometimes it's both dryers. Both dryers were broke at one point. After they came out to fix those; one broke down again right after. With only 2 washers and 2 dryers per building; it can make it hard to get your laundry done whenever you'd like. There is a laundry mat about a mile away. It's a better value money wise; as well as; you have a better chance at getting your laundry done when you'd like. I've had the opportunity to completely view 4 empty units and use 2 of the buildings laundry facilities at some point. I had the opportunity to move into a different style 2 bedroom apartment here. Went ahead and made the move. As people move out and with the units I've fully seen; I've seen much needed improvements being made. I've seen new carpets, refrigerators, ovens , water heaters,and a furnace replaced. Hopefully updates continue; even with units currently occupied. With the pandemic going on it has made things tough on everyone. I know my unit needs a few things done and I know other's do as well. I understand why all maintenance orders haven't been done. The big problem was; before the pandemic or before the manager change; things weren't getting done or in a timely manner. Hopefully this improves as the pandemic improves."

"I’ve lived here about 7 months. I was a little nervous with the previous reviews... I’m pretty happy living here. The apartments are pretty dated. I will say parking is excellent! I lived in a way more expensive apartment in Lee’s Summit and was never able to park close. I’ve never had to search for a spot living here. Very quiet! Mostly retired people and young professionals. I know 3 nurses that live in my building. My only complaint would be laundry is in the basement, and the apartments are pretty outdated. (Which I was told they are remodeling every unit when someone moves out.) we have a new property manager who is VERY nice! I think the complex got bought by new owners recently. The staff is so friendly. I frequently see the maintenance man in the afternoon when I arrive home from work. He is always happy and will follow up with you regarding any repairs he’s done in your unit. I think I’ll be moving when my lease is up because I want new construction with more amenities. Overall I’m very satisfied with these apartments."

"I have lived at Summit Ridge Apartments for almost 3 years and have loved it. I have always been treated very well. The staff is very Resident oriented. They are always warm and welcoming when I call or go into the office. It is apparent they want strive to be the best to in creating a Community, not just an apartment complex...it feels like home. They keep the grounds in prestige condition and the maintenance staff always respond to any need O have had very quickly. I highly recommend Summit Ridge!! -Debbie T."
