"Landlord rarely answers the phone. You can't even leave a message most of the time because she doesn't answer anyone else's calls either, so the mailbox is always full. No emergency contact information for maintenance. When you bring up legitimate issues, it is dodged with a "if you don't like it, you can leave" during a pandemic. Does not communicate with tenants with anything they're doing. Once woke up thinking someone crashed into the building because they told none of us they were starting to replace the roof by taking a literal jackhammer to it. The roofing crew they hired were peering into tenants windows. They've cut off our fiber under the reason that "we are the ones that pay for it for you", despite the fact that if you live in NKC, linkcity fiber at the speeds we are getting at is free. They don't tell you they're doing this either, and you're left without internet during a pandemic where my work is done nearly completely online, and only to tell tenants weeks later that "they're on their own". This place is a joke. I'm only still here because it's the only affordable place around here, but it's a very much get what you pay for. There still isn't any carpet in the halls months after the ripped it up. It looks disgusting in the halls. The front door lock never works properly. If you have an emergency? Good luck. No maintenance number. Just a "text this number if emergency" but even then good luck getting a reply."
