"Liars and thieves. They’re certainly eager to take your money, but they’re typical slumlord rental thugs and WILL NOT give your safety deposit back. I leased apartment 20 D for a year. I left it much cleaner and in better repair than I found it. Which was recognized by management. They made themselves perpetually unavailable over the phone, so I drove 3 hours to show up at their office multiple times. Each time, another excuse. When I finally got a cheque for the safety deposit, it was made out to both my ex wife and myself. Despite the fact that they possess a scan of my Id, and every payment was made from my personal account, they refuse to work with me to correct the issue, in full recognition that they made the funds unreachable to anyone but themselves."
"I attempted to rent here. I went through the entire process. Was shown a unit and was told it was available and told there was no deposit needed. I applied that night and paid application fee. I was approved but then told the unit was no longer available. I had specifically asked for a ground floor unit as one of my family members is disabled. When I was told the unit I saw was unavailable, I was then told only one other ground floor option was available but someone else was approved but if I got my deposit in before them I could have it. SHADY! Then the leasing agent didn’t even know the information on their own company’s website. So, I was allowed to apply for a unit that wasn’t available. And pay the application fee. When asked for an apology or them to make good and return my fee. Silence."
"Lived here since September and have had no problems! The apartments are nicely updated, very quiet complex. Everyone is friendly & keeps to themselves. Only issue is parking- definitely need more parking spots! Maybe in the future? If not for that it would be 5/5 Easy highway access & lots of stores nearby Definitely recommend!"
"I’ve lived here about a year and three months and the other reviewer is correct that management changed, however I can attest this is for the better after experiencing both. I’ve had nothing but great experiences with management and this is the quickest maintenance team I’ve ever experienced in an apartment. The website is easy to use to submit requests and to pay rent. I enjoyed moving into a new place that was freshly updated. I’m only giving 3 stars for a few reasons. I’m in the 2 bedroom unit and I find the kitchen storage, bathroom storage, and just really the storage in general to be lacking. The three bedroom units seem to have more storage but there are only a few of those. The second reason is the uneven amount of parking around the building. I live in the NW section but usually have to park on the east side of the building. It’s fine except for grocery runs or when I need to load up my vehicle. Or when the alley is full of snow/ice/slush it’s potentially dangerous as it doesn’t get much sunlight. The third reason is because of some neighbors that smoke pot often both in our building and our garage building. Seems to be frequent here and Im not personally offended that they smoke, except when I have to go through the shared hallway, it’s pretty awful. That and the horrible food or trash smells or sprays that people use in attempt to get rid of the smells. But that’s apartment living I suppose. The price is good for what we get and neighbors are friendly in passing. I have a pleasant view of the school yard on one side of my apartment."
"Rudest leasing agent I have ever encountered. Called to get info on availability and could not believe the tone and hostility I received from the employee. If that’s how they treat people looking to lease I cannot imagine how they treat their tenants. To elaborate... after expressing that I was interested in the 3 bedroom floor plan I was told none were vacant.I can’t tell you who I spoke to since no name was offered during the conversation... While trying to explain that I had flexibility about move in date I was told that she was not able to help me. I was cut off before I could tell her we would be open to other floor plans or ask the additional questions I had about pet policy, tour, etc... after stating that I was just trying to get more information she quickly hung up on me without a goodbye. Very disappointed. My husband and I were very optimistic about the complex."
