"I have worked in pediatrics for over 10 years (and have specific experience in pediatric surgery), so I was apprehensive to see how the staff might care for my 3yo son for his surgery. But my goodness, they were PHENOMENAL and the anesthesiologists were some of the best I have seen in the way they: A. Got on my son's level immediately and sought to build warm rapport with him. B. Helped prepare me as the mom of what to expect on the send off and on my son's affect for recovery. C. Managing the transition for us to say goodbye, for my son to take their hand, and zoom away to surgery in the most play-filled, fun way that was not too overwhelming or over-stimulating. D. When I was quickly brought back to recovery, I was so surprised to see my son wasn't in a bed, but instead the recovery nurse was holding him instead and made a quick handoff to me to help my son feel safe and comforted when he was waking up. Though I would love for Landmark Surgery Center to consider ways to assess if a parental presence could be beneficial to also go back with a child for induction (because parental presence can be very valuable and helpful if managed in the right way), I was quite pleased and thankful for the anesthesia's team in being so caring, friendly, attentive, and loving to my son (special shoutout to Dr. Ryan as well!! Thank you for loving my son like your own!)"

"The receptionist was warm and welcoming, attending to all the paperwork and explaining it very well, only took a few minutes. Less than 5 minutes, and I was ushered back for pre-op, really impressive. Nice area to change and get ready for my room. It's really nice to have your own room. Dorey was so nice and professional saying thank you all the time. The warm blanket was so inviting as always when you're in a cold surgery center. Dorey took her time with finding a vein for the IV, which was so fleshing nit getting stuck over and over searching for a vein. First time, and Dorey got it right on the money. The anesthesiologist was so nice and funny to boot, which I desire when he's prepping me for surgery. Of course, Dr. Scott Hardeman was the first to greet me and answer my questions. Joe came in to get me my sedative, and April, I think, was my nurse. Please forgive me if I'm wrong. The entire staff and surgery center were top notch for sure, as most surgery centers scare me as they are always overcrowded. I was so impressed with being second in line to have my surgery, and it was nice, quiet, and quaint with so few people in there that early. Took an hour for surgery and an hour for recovery. I was a happy little camper to get it over with for sure. Can't say enough nice things for everyone who was part of my day. They really soothed my nerves and anxiety I had all night and morning like most patients. I did have a freak problem early in the morning and contacted the on- call doctor. I won't go into the details. Luckily, Dr.Hardeman was on-call for that night. He responded in minutes and helped me resolve it even checked back in 15 minutes, then early morning too."
