"There is excessive physician turnover here. I may have an internist for 2 or 3 years before they move on. This last time I wasn't even assigned a new physician. Upon calling I was told I had been dropped from the practice since my doctor left. There were zero doctors taking new patients. I was assigned to a NP for an appt 6 months away and 2 months past my annual date. The doctor she will work with had not yet been hired. I feel pretty certain that these doctors are expected to churn through an unsupportable number of patients leading to burnout and thus they leave. That the practice is in such a state that they were unable to assign me even temporarily to a new doctor so I receive continous care speaks volumes. I'd love to talk to someone who manages the practice. 2 stars because they doctors I have had are uniformly excellent. It's too bad the practice doesn't value them."
