"Highly disappointed in the ongoing level of service provided. If this is “exceptional service” as stated in their mission statement, it falls short. From being charged for the wrong type of visit on different dates, to the wrong provider reading ultrasound results leading to surprise charges, to not having results explained to you for multiple weeks even though they’re available on MyMercy, to having a lower-level provider subbing for my regular doctor but then STILL not being able to see my regular doctor when she returns, to the impossible-to-navigate communications channel, I’m super frustrated and at the end of my rope. You can’t get ahold of any of them for questions, comments, concerns but best believe they will find a way to get ahold you for payment. Make it make sense- if you expect to be paid, I expect the service you’re wanting me to pay for. I do not recommend being seen here, and wish I didn’t have to continue treatment here- but since insurance works the way it does, let’s hope there is a marked improvement in my care, for my unborn child’s sake."
"This place has lost all of my respect. I’ve been coming to Mercy since I was a child. Since I’ve been pregnant and using this hospital I’ve been blown off and discriminated against because of my health insurance. This OB clinic doesn’t know how to properly care for patients with compassion and it shows heavy when you have to confront them on their mistakes. None of the staff are helpful and neither is the office manager. Better off going to Cox Hospital, they have better facilities and more care for you as a person."
"My NP sent in an urgent referral to this office 2 weeks prior to me making a phone call to check on the status. I was told that a nurse would be calling me back. I have yet to hear anything so I called again today and still a nurse will call me back. I then read all the reviews about how difficult it is to ever hear back from them so I am going to contact my NP and ask that she refer me to another facility. This is not good patient care on an urgent referral."
"I have been trying to get someone to answer the phone over there. It rings rings after 15 mins it just hangs up. I requested an appointment through my mercy as i was really in need to see my old dr over there or see a new one that can help me.They wont schedule me an appointment unless they know for sure i havent seen another dr.... how am i supposed to know what dr i want or need unless i meet with them? So its been a few weeks still no appointment i will give you all the final update when a appointment is made and how it goes."
"UPDATE: I called and waited they could get the nurse on the phone (I didn't let them have them call me back) and had a good conversation with the nurse. She took the time to answer all my questions and apologized for my experience. I still say, proceed with caution b/c of their busy-ness but I am happy I finally talked with someone. Not a responsive office at all! I had VERY IMPORTANT bloodwork done and I’m still waiting for the doctor to tell me the results. MyMercy shows the results have been in for a week. I’ve also requested an appointment that the doctor told me to have in 2 weeks from the last appointment. I’ve been calling, writing on MyMercy and requested an appointment on MyMercy and I’m still waiting! (I regret forgetting to make the appointment when I left my last one but I was in emotional distress). Now, I am supposed to see Dr Stanczyk on this coming Monday and I’m told he has no appointments until mid December! I’ve never ever had this lack of care at mercy before and I am at my whits end. I need to know if I’m ok!!"
