"This is a place that is not taking responsibility for their mistakes, I got a wrong prescription on my glasses and now they are charging me more to get a right prescription, they must take responsibility for their mistakes."
"I have been a patient for at least 15 years and I must admit I’ve been very happy over the years with every aspect of this establishment. Would I recommend them the answer is yes. My only issue in the past two years is how the insurance is billed from Premier Eye Care services. There is inconsistencies in how the insurance is billed. On my last appointment I asked the receptionist is there a copay, she actually looked at my insurance plan on the computer and said NO. Went in for the exam everything went well. I ask the Dr. about the billing and did not get a definitive answer for the inconsistencies other than the insurance company decides what your portion should be ( my inquiries are about yearly eye exam). Walked out the office to make my eye appointment for next year and ANOTHER receptionist after making the appointment said today’s visit will be 45.00. Two people working next to each other and they both say something different about the copay. I have no issues with the Dr , staff, or cleanliness of the office. I just wish I knew why this area of concern is so hard for Premier Eye Care Dr’s and staff to get right. Bottom line is it’s important for you to be consistent with proper billing."
"I have been going here for years. Dr. Dawson has always been extremely friendly and helpful. As an adult I got hit in the eye with a nerf bullet and it made me go temporarily blind. I was able to get ahold of her after hours fairly quickly. Dr. Dawson talked me through things I needed to watch out for, and was able to see me the next day to make sure my eye was okay. I have always enjoyed picking out glasses with Debbie and Jackie makes scheduling easy. Dr. Florkowski performed lasik and I had a great experience there too."
"Had my eye exam for contacts and glasses. Front desk does not attend well and can get hard to deal with. My prescription was not fit for my eyes and had trial contact lenses that I saw blurry told doctor Christa Dawson about it and did nothing about it. After calling several times for her to check my eyes she finally said she had time after 3 weeks of trying to get my eyes checked. All she did was order another trial lenses. I paid alot for glasses and contact lenses exam and got nowhere. Would not recommend. I tried another place where they were friendly and got a new prescription that I can see clear and they gave me contacts same day that works for my eyes. I would not recommend this place if you want good service and need a good prescription. Don't waste your time"
"Decent pricing and friendly staff. However, I had an appointment to get contacts to replace my glasses. They did the exam and got my prescription, convinced me to get a back up pair of glasses and had to wait 3 weeks for my contacts. Once they arrived they told me I couldn’t get my contacts unless I took some class on how to properly put them in. That would be fine if it wasn’t an hour long class for $89. Everywhere else told me this was a sham to get more money and that it’s up to the optometrist should be able to show you quickly when you pick up your contacts. On principle I’d rather pay another doctor to completely redo the exam and order the contacts even tho it’ll cost me more than the $89. They wouldn’t even give me the prescription so I could just order my own either. They force you into paying for some bogus class to get more money. They were great up until this point."
