Stanley Station Wine & Spirits

"Update 8/4/22: Once again, I'm taking the time to rate Stanley Station 5 stars. Always beautiful stock, displays, and every craft brew under the sun. Don went above and beyond, and was extra helpful and friendly. Best liquor store in Shawnee. Extensive variety of chilled beers, plenty of wines and all the liquors. Very bright and clean store. Always friendly staff. Deann was especially helpful and friendly on more than one occasion when I've been in."

"The staff here is delightful, the store has a surprising amount of range in what it offers despite not being the size of a liquor emporium, and the they do a great job actually putting the prices below the items (which, I swear, is a total rarity given that 90% of the stores I go to I see something cool and have no idea how much it costs). I also appreciate that they demarcate what is out of stock, what is unavailable from the vendor, etc. Little things like that should earn Stanley Station an easy 5 Stars, but the issue I have is that there is WAY too much old beer in the coolers. I'm talking 9 month old IPAs out there at full price. There were at least three or four things I looked at that were a solid six months past their prime. Buying beer shouldn't be akin to avoiding landmines. More attention to this and I'd take the long way home from work to shop here."

"The owners/operators of this business are very friendly and helpful. They have a terrific selection of wine, liquor and cereal malt beverage. I love their guard dog as well. This isn't one of those giant "destination" liquor stores. But, that's exactly what I like about it."

"They carry the dailys cocktail pouches already frozen (which made me very excited, I couldn't resist picking up a few) The salesperson who helped us had great suggestions. He was conversational without being pushy or making us feel rushed, and the whiskey he recommended is a new favorite of mine. I can't wait to try one of their tasting events!"
