"Went there once before and things were great. This time, however, we brought the same things we used last time for my daughter to get a tattoo (birth certificate and ID) just to be told it wasn't enough and we needed to prove she loved with me. Not many people under the age of 18 gets official mail, and when I asked if an Amazon package she ordered would work I was told yes. So I drove another half hour back to my house to dig through the trash to get an old package to meet the apparently new standard. After driving back, she then went back on her word and said it would no longer work. She made us drive for almost 2 hours just to turn us away. Terrible"

"I have received several tattoos in my life and none have been better than at The Collins Studio! Trever has never let me down with his work and I've never healed up faster, due to his light hand. I've also been able to watch his other artists and see the quality of their work and I can say without a doubt Collins Studio only recruits the best! I would recommend ANY of their artists without hesitation and actually have numerous times and heard only positive feedback after! This will forever be my go to space for tattoo work!"

"First, I want to say that my experience actually getting the tattoo was wonderful. I had Ky and she was very sweet, asked often if I was comfortable or needed anything, and just generally made the experience very enjoyable. Having said that, after the tattoo started flaking during the healing process, I noticed that it was losing a lot of color. I messaged Ky and asked if I could stop in sometime for her to take a look at it. She said yes and asked me to send a photo of it, which I did. I still hadn't heard back the next day, so I messaged her again, and she responded saying that there were a variety of ways it could've gone wrong and that she was willing to fix it when it healed in about 3 weeks- totally fine with me. I messaged several days later asking about her availability on the days I had off in the coming month; she said she had availability on a certain day. Awesome! I told her the chunks of time I had available that day between other appointments, and asked if any of those blocks of time worked for her... and never heard back. At all. This was problematic for me, especially considering the difficulty in getting responses up to this point, so I reached out to another artist at another studio (who had done a previous tattoo for me), and he was able to get me in both for an evaluation/consult and for the actual fix. He actually complimented her work and said the color loss issue was most likely just due to needing more experience, not because of negligence, bad equipment/ink, or anything like that. I'm willing to give Collins another chance, as I live close by and want to support people in my town, I just hope there is more consistent response when messaging with a client. (please note: I'm in no way expecting any kind of refund or special discount in the future, just a change in responsiveness)."
