"Nice store and good selection, however, I’m only giving two stars for the lack of customer service. My 4yr old had to use the restroom and we got the usual retail response that the restroom was out of order. Probably would have spent more money but had to stop and leave the store to find a restroom before my 4 yr old peed her pants. Although I spent money at the store, which would have been more if I continued shopping, my girlfriend put all her items back. Very poor customer service to refuse to allow paying customers to use your restroom, especially a 4 yr old. Will not return, I’ll spend my money where it’s appreciated."

"Best Hidden Gem. I was able to finish my last minute Christmas shopping with some awesome gifts!! I also found the ground spices for my morning ☕️. Place smells Amazing!! Courteous staff I highly recommend you run to this store!!"

"Very nice employees and good selection, but I became uncomfortable when I noticed several spice blends that expressed anti-Republican messages on the back of the bottle. Later I discovered a whole anti-Republican welcome-not welcome letter on the corporate website (See "About Republicans" page.). This is so shocking to me that I am not sure that I'll ever buy from Penzey's again, even though I'm a longtime customer and there are two products I love but can't get anywhere else. If I do, it will only be for these two products; of that I am certain. Fortunately, there are other spice shops that don't alienate and vilify half the country. For the record, I would also be turned off if it were another party being made second-class customers. This is a divisive and inappropriate practice for a business that seeks to serve everyone."

"We have shopped here many times and loved it. Then, at a fundraiser for first responders, we received a gift basket with penzey’s spices in it. They used the side of their bottle as a chance to condemn and hate everything about anyone that is Republican. I’m not a huge Republican by any means, but I was shocked that they had such hateful things to say about half the US population. Didn’t know they were so comfortable with unkind words when they love to advertise love. Hypocritical and they can’t even see it. I won’t be back."
