"Let me just start off by saying I tried to order online but it wasn’t working. First inconvenience. I drove all the way from Illinois to the Brentwood location vitamin shoppe to purchase my boyfriend and I pre/post work out powders and supplements. This was 02/04/2021 2:00pm. A slim white guy in a black jacket was working. I walked in and wasn’t greeted, whatever. I walked in essentially thinking I was going to pick out and purchase the products I attempted to purchase online. But no. Second inconvenience. The prices were completely different from online. I looked over at the guy working and he finally acknowledged me and asked if I needed help. Yes. I asked if a particular item was buy one get one free as stated on The vitamin shoppes website. He said no and led me to another BOGO product of that same brand that was too on my list to purchase. I told/showed him the stores online BOGO ad of this particular item I was trying to purchase. He looked it up on the stores computer shrugged and said “well we have to honor what’s online” ok cool. He then says but the ones with a red sticker we can’t honor. The particular one I wanted had a red sticker. Great (Sarcastically said). I then said “ok never mind I’ll just find it somewhere else because online it doesn’t exclude this item from the BOGO sale” he nonchalantly said “ok sorry about that”. Almost like “great now get tf out” He didn’t even care to check.The worst customer service ever. The guy clearly didn’t want to be there or didn’t want to be bothered with me. I’m not the type to play the race card but from a previous review I’m starting to wonder if that was the case. Not that I care. That’s a personal problem. Just do your job. I’ve worked enough jobs to know that if it says one thing online we have to honor it. Customer satisfaction. Whatever. I’m not going to debate with someone to spend my money with them. I ended up driving a few extra miles (third inconvenience) to a different store and was more than honored to spend my $319.87 there. Won’t be back."
