"Outstanding quality work and excellent customer service. Blake refinished our 1934 floors and installed hardwood over concrete in two rooms a year ago. After about 9 months one of the floors over concrete came undone, started to raise up and created a large bump in the room. Michael Blake came out, looked it over, investigated and found out the the problem was with the glue used. It was not Blake's faults, as the glue vendor reported having the same problem in their showroom. This company does outstanding work, stands behind their installations and does beautiful refinishing and installations. Trust in them, a relative rarity these days."

"Blake did a great job! They installed hardwood in our dining room and matched it beautifully to the hardwood on the rest of the first floor. They were on schedule and cleaned up each day. I highly recommend them."

"We had our first floor wood sanded and refinished with a different stain color. We are very happy with the results. We chose a more matte finish for a rustic look, and they look beautiful. Blake Flooring stayed on the designated schedule. We had no holes in the walls or any damage. It is to be expected that baseboards may need to be repainted after the completion of the job. Blake Flooring did a great job!"

"I went with Blake Floor based on their reputation and low price. I was very disappointed with the results. I had all the wood floors in the living room, dining, and 2 bedrooms refinished. I also had Blake lay down new wood floors in the hallways and kitchen. The tie in of the new floors with the old was pretty good. However, the finish was horrible. There were circular patterns from the sander visible throughout the house. Also, the kitchen walls (all four) were very beat up. Blake said there would need to be some touch up on the walls, but this well beyond touch up. It took my contractor half a day to fix all the holes before we could paint. Blake did agree to come back and put on another coat of polyurethane to fix the swirls. After, I found three large and obvious puddles from laying down too much polyurethane and not smoothing it out. They offered to fix those, but at this point I was way behind schedule and I needed to get back into the house. Over the next few weeks I noticed other issues. For example, my stair risers all all scratched up from having Blake refinish the steps. I've found holes and cracks in the floors, even with the new wood floors (they must have dropped something and didn't bother to fix it) which indicates sloppy work and poor attention to detail. I would definitely not use Blake Floor again. Even with their low prices."

"Our son and daughter-in-law used them to refinish and repair their wood floors. Blake did an awesome job, finished within the time they promised, price was reasonable and I am going to use them to refinish some rooms and install in two additional rooms. I am confident they will do a terrific job. And no, I am not a family member. It's a bummer when it's only disgruntled customers (for whatever reason) are the only ones who write the review. I imagine that there are many folks out there who've received terrific service but didn't take the time to write a review (that is usually me). But not this time!!"
