"The inside is much better since the renovation but they've only ever got one cashier working, it's hard to tell from the picture but there are 5 people in front of me, the cashier was concerned with her phone, there's no self check out even though it was completely renovated and there's a dumpster full of trash all over the place that is complete disgusting."

"As I walked into the store, the cashier greeted me, was friendly, and tried to be helpful. This store is basically the same as every other Dollar General I've ever shopped. It is crowded and cluttered as they try to fit every trinket and toy, sponge and spaghetti-o's, washcloth and widget into the face of the shopper. The price tags on the shelves don't line up with the items most of the time because they tend to get picked up by small, grabby hands, carried around the store with a squeaky voice begging for its purchase, and then re-shelved by the one carrying the money on a random nearby shelf when they finally tire of listening to the now whining voice. (This is common in every single dollar store of any name...) The selection of what I was hoping to find was limited to a choice of one, and it wasn't exactly what I needed. However, as there's always something that catches your eye, and I ended up buying three things I didn't need. On a hot day, the air conditioner was nice and cool. There were not a lot of customers when I went in, but quite a few came in while I was impulse buying. And again, the cashier was a friendly guy. It was a nice visit for just going in to see what I could find while I was out and about, wasting time (and money, as it turns out.) My niece and grand-nephew will love the painting canvases I bought them to do together! AND, I found out that there are Cotton Candy Twinkies! Banana, too! If only they made bacon-filled Twinkies... but now I'm dreaming!"
