"My family and I always come in and pick their ready made cakes from the display shelves for birthdays and holidays and they’re always perfect. I am obsessed with their smaller sized cakes because it’s hard to find a cake size at other stores/bakeries that won’t be leftover. The small cakes are so cute and incredibly unique I hope they never get rid of them!! The designs for all their cakes are pretty adorable and they always have a wide variety ready for any occasion! I get the tiny cakes for my friends for their birthday all the time (great for two people to share or even single person if you’re feeling indulgent loll) and the bigger cakes for family events. I hate whipped icing and buttercream is easy to get wrong but theirs is perfected for sure! I’ve been coming here for a couple years now."

"Fantastic bakery! Harters has been a our families favorite for generations. We love their birthday cakes. The cake is so moist and the buttercream icing is “not too sweet“. Their service is amazing as well. We had a family member offer to make our wedding cake and when something came up last minute and it couldn’t be done, Harters came through. It was a beautiful cake, tasted incredible, decorated exactly how we asked within a couple days of ordering."

"I got a three tier wedding cake and 2 dozen cupcakes from Harter Bakery for my wedding on 10/27/23. All the guests loved the dessert! I had several people asking where it came from. Tip - try the white cake with raspberry filling. You will not be disappointed."

"I love this place but man their expensive. Not only that but I had 3 different people tell me 3 different things about how to preserve my cake until my daughters birthday. I however finally did get with the actual cake maker (you have to see her by appointment only) and she made everything clear to me! So I was thankful for that!! For a 2 tier cake, is when you HAVE to make an appointment to go in & see her. One tired cakes you can go in & give them whatever your order is you want done. But let’s just say I paid a lot for a cake that won’t even have any decorations on it. Just plain black because it’s going to be a glow in the dark/UV black light cake & NO ONE around me will make a cake like that because they all say it’s too expensive & they don’t get enough orders for them to buy the stuff to do them. So I ordered all the stuff myself to decorate it but I just needed a basic 2 tired cake in all black & it was still quite expensive!! Now with that in mind, I still do love this place. My gma has been going here for 40+ years & they make special cookies everyday! You can go in & buy individual cookies ($1.50 or more per cookie). Like on st.pattys day they had cookies just for that holiday so I grabbed some for my girls. I love this place & do recommend them but just be ready to pay if you get a 2 tired cake. (When I get the cake I’ll edit my review & show pic of it) but here is some of the other cookies I’ve gotten from there also"
