"For the most part, I have fun memories of shopping at this Kohls from my childhood on up. The quality of the clothing and jewelry has always been great. As for the customer service, it has just gone downhill. In the past year alone, each time I visit, something odd happens. My boyfriend found a pair of sunglasses he liked, but the price on the kohls website was substantially different from the in-store price. Since he was visiting and needed a pair then since his broke, we asked a cashier about price matching. It was a short conversation, but she told us Kohls does not price match. She wasn't friendly at all and she definitely gave off the attitude that she didn't want to deal with answering any questions, nor verify the information. The kicker is we looked up the policy later and Kohls does indeed price match. We went up there again after dinner one night to go ahead and buy the sunglasses and the employees had locked the doors at least 15 minutes earlier than closing time. During another visit, I went to return a few items. One of them being a jewelry set I was returning because I found one in better shape with a better coupon discount. I had the clothing items with its receipt and the jewelry with the other. She only scanned the first receipt. When I said the jewelry goes with the other receipt, she just looked at me, smiled, and said, "have a nice day" with zero acknowledgement of what I just said. After that awkward experience, I went to look around. Upon walking up to the dressing rooms, an associate was looking at me, so I waved and said hi. The lady frowns, looks down, and walks away. With all that being said, there is one lady that is usually a cashier and she is sweet as can be; I'll try to catch her name next time."

"I received an email coupon for 40% off. I went to my local Kohl’s and picked out four items. When I got to the cash register, I was informed that the coupon did not apply to Levi’s, Lee’s, Nike, or Under Armor. in other words, none of my items got a discount. I then asked if I would receive the senior discount and was informed that that didn’t apply as well. This kind of deceptive advertising is totally unacceptable."
