Strip's Chicken & Dive Bar

"We checked out the new Strips chicken on Merriam lane! They offer the same great chicken and sandwiches plus a full bar. They also have darts, pool, and a nice patio. We loved the fast, friendly, personable service and great beer selection. They have a ton of beer options including an impressive selection of IPAs and sours. I particularly enjoyed the Made Up Dreams sour from Destihl. Will definitely return - hungry and thirsty for more!"

"It's all about the chicken, that's all you need to know. Excellent batter, quality meat and served just right, choose how you want it sandwich (excellent) wrap (was ok, but great chicken) or strips, you can't go wrong. Staff was attentive and food came fast. The only odd things was their process. No salt or pepper on the tables, no napkins etc. had to ask for everything which staff was more than happy to help."

"This location has been so many bars over the years. This time I think they nailed it. This is a run... Do not walk to place. The food is so fresh, delicious, and made in house. The beer is cold and they even make a couple things on tap themselves. It's super clean, modernized, and a beautiful bar. This is right on my way home and so happy they have revitalized this place. I hope to enjoy some good drinks and good memories in this bar. Thanks for revitalizing and improving the neighborhood Todd! Hopefully everyone gets behind you and this place is prosperous."

"Been a fan of Strip's for many years, including being in attendance for the opening days of both the temporary food truck setup in Waldo & the brick-and-mortar restaurant itself. Lots of menu options, both entrees & sides. Alas, one of my favorite items was their fried portobello mushroom strips, which vanished from their menu several years ago due to product availability issues. Lo and behold, shortly after the opening of their new location in Merriam, the shrooms are BACK (at Merriam only). While smaller in size (I got to chatting about this with Strip's owner Todd while my order was being prepared to go), the flavor is still just as enjoyable as it ever was."
