"Parking lot was full. Price was $16 each. Service is quick in clearing plates and filling drinks. Food was restocked on the steam tables pretty regularly. The dining room is relatively clean. The wife liked the sushi. One kid commented "why so much banana?" Anything that's fried has a lingering aftertaste. No sure if the oil needs to be filtered or what, but it was off putting. Likely won't return again."
"Decided to stop here for lunch When we first went in the cashier didn’t greet us. Just asked how many and what to drink. There place looks run down with boxes everywhere. We went at lunch time (around 1:30) and EVERYTHING was cold. I’m not sure how you have a buffet and have cold food during the busiest part of the day. Plus, the food did not taste good. Even the Texas toast (which you literally just put in the oven) was soggy and gross.The dessert was very slim with not much to choose from. Plus, the person making the stir fry (the only hot thing) was really rude. I’ve never been to a buffet that was as bad as this. I do NOT recommend. The only plus side was that our drinks were refilled quickly. I’ll never go back and I pray that I don’t get sick!"
"Poor experience for first visit. The prices are not same prices posted online. online says $9.99 dinner buffet Mon-Fri. We go in and it says $12.99 Dinner Buffet Mon-Fri. When you first walk in there is no staff showing you to sit or pay first, (as i been in Chinese buffets that either pay first or seat you first). Go in and im lost, until some say "you order here", and we got two dinner buffets, he said "drink?", we ordered one water, one soda, he said "two soda?", we resteted one water, one soda, he said "two soda?" again, so language barrier starting already. After ordering the guy walks away, i'm standing there .. do i seat my self or wait for someone show me a table? Someone in the kitchen says "seat!", so we found a table for two, and a waitress/server shouting 5 feet away at us "NO! SEAT HERE!" and placed us in a booth but the people behind us got to pick their seat... she seated us, walked off grumbling, came back with our drinks and walks back off grumbling under her breath. So myself and the other person I took to dinner went to get our food, some of it was dried or soggy. Server grabbed my cup that was half empty and filled, didn't ask me if i wanted a refill or what i had. I ordered Pepsi at the counter, she refilled with Dr. Pepper... grumbled walking off. When she took our empty plated, it was always a grumble, The food at the buffet were labeled wrong, the butterflied shrimps were pounded shrimped and poorly breaded dipped shrimp, it all tasted like premade frozen and warmed up in a microwave food. Finally, when she handed our ticket, she just flopped it on the table and grumbled off, no 'thank yous', no 'how was your meal', just grumbles and walk offs. and twice we told her two separate tickets. I pulled out my card and placed it with a receipt and she picks it up, grumbling, comes back with a receipt, flops it on the table and grumbles off. there was no pen to sign the receipt. I signed the receipt and left. I will not be going back, poor communication from the start, i understand servers have bad days, but their service to the guest reflects from that to where the guest have a bad experience. To the restaurant: update your website prices, correct your food labels, "smile", communicate better, "Thanks yous" and "how was your meals" rotate your food (this a health department requirement), better servers."
"We decided on having a family outing at this restaurant. One of my family members chose this restaurant. I did my homework by reading the reviews & after reading the reviews I was skeptical. To keep from being difficult I decided to go. One of the reviews I did read say that staff do not seat you, you have to seat yourself after they give you your eating utensils. The food was good it was warm, shrimp were good & hot, crab legs were very small. I gave 1 star for service because the waitress did not keep my glass filled with water. Another thing that I read on the reviews is about the tip that is included with your bill I disliked that to the fullest. It was 9 of us & they put all 9 charges on one bill. We were paying separate. It’s ok I have definitely had better service. The food was good to me."
"THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE INSPECTED. It is not healthy or safe to have soap marinating in your food! At the "Mongolian" grill section, I noticed the shrimp was bubbly. I am a certified food handler and I know shrimp should never be bubbly, raw or cooked. I didn't eat any of it myself, but my friend had some. After they cooked his food, I asked to try his shrimp. When I did, I immediately tasted soap or some kind of chemical cleaner. Overall, the food wasn't all like this, or at least I didn't taste chemicals in all of it. For atmosphere, there was this guy who I think was the manager who was walking around on the phone the whole time yelling every now and then in another language."
