"On Sunday, I decided to get out of my food comfort zone and try a restaurant I normally wouldn't have. My husband has been to this place once before and suggested we go for lunch so I could give it a shot! The results.....AMAZING!!! The restaurant we went to is called El Pulgarcito Salvadoren Restaurant in Merriam. I have never had this type of cuisine before. The place was busy from the time we walked to the tome that we left. The service was outstanding. Super friendly staff. Now, the food....please allow me to drool a little....was packed with flavor and delicious. I tried the Pupusas Asada y Queso (steak and cheese) which comes with Curtido (Spiced Coleslaw) and for my main dish i tried the Carne Guisada (Beef Stew) with Mora (Blackberry Juice) to drink. I was in food heaven. Everything had so much depth of flavor. I'm really glad that I took the chance and tried something new. I will definitely be a customer from here on.... I highly recommend El Pulgarcito!!!!!!"

"I've heard a couple of people talking of this little restaurant and so I had to try it. We went at 1:30 during the lunch rush. We had to wait but only about 10 minutes. The place is small but the food is delicious. Can't wait to go back for more. Everyone was busy, but very polite it'd so nice when the employees are happy. Keep up the good work."
