"The food was delicious, great price for the amount of food you get, The staff was very friendly. The only negative thing I can say the used appetizer dishes weren’t cleared away so it made the table crowded when dinner arrived. I will come back."

"Tried out a new place, and although it wasn’t bad, it wasn’t my fave either. I had the “Mexican Candy” it was a little sweeter than I expected and I couldn’t taste any tequila in it. I ordered the spicy calamari, only to find out it came bathed in a sauce with onions. Taste-wise it was a 7/10 but I also just wanted some fried calamari so I was still a little disappointed. I ordered the seafood boil. The shrimp was kind of small compared to any other place that offers a similar meal. There is only one “flavor”. It’s a little spicy, which I like. But if you don’t like spicy, you might try someone else’s lol. The biggest let down was the “cocktail sauce” it was almost like they diluted it with hot sauce. I could have cried. I will say, for the price point, you do get a variety of things in the seafood boil for $35 (Sausage does not come with it) The place is small, and tight! Searing is close together. I think it would be better to go when it’s warm, since they have some outdoor seating as well. I wouldn’t say I had a bad experience, but it just wasn’t enough for me to come back after spending $60+tip."

"I visited Mariscos when I first moved to Olathe and it quickly became one of my go to places to eat. Not only is the service is fantastic, the food is fresh, delicious, and perfectly portioned. They recently updated their menu to include a wider array of meals that allow you to indulge yourself, or stick to the healthier side if that’s what you’re looking for. Last time I visited I tried the new San Pedro Shrimp Tray and their Mango cheesecake and both were delicious. A must try for anyone who looking for quality seafood in the metro."

"This place could be epic! Drinks are cool. Service is friendly and kind. Food look great but the seafood was terrible and inauthentic! Not fresh, too sweet, not enough lime, a huge disappointment. Fish was yellow and freezer burned, shrimp were waterlogged and muddy tasting. I wouldn’t even call this Mexican style seafood. You can see the Asian chili sauce on the yellowtail appetizer. No Maggi’s to be seen!"
