"Our server was okay. A busser was shouting across the restaurant, complaining he had to clean. The restroom floors were sticky. We couldn't find our server to pay, but found her with other workers in a booth just chilling. The food bland and was either over microwaved or over broiled, either way it was inedible. 2 stars for a very kind hostesses."

"We love Salty Iguana. Our server Christina and the manager Andrew were fantastic. Checking on us and making sure everything was to our satisfaction. The food is great and to think during the holiday season they offer free $25 gift card with a $50 purchase is unheard of."

"Food was decent, especially the P.V.B. burrito... surprisingly flavorful! Salsa was excellent, though the chips were a bit boring. Biggest complaint was the wait time... I think our poor server was shorthanded, so it took close to 90 minutes just to have lunch. So I'd recommend coming back when you actually have...time :)"

"Someone told me that KC has great Mexican food. I didn't believe that. How could such a thing be possible on the plains? I was wrong and The Salty Iguana is proof. It started when I came in and sat down. Usually someone brings a basket of tortilla chips and some red liquid they describe as "salsa". The chips are usually hard and thick. You know, because you have been there. Not at The Salty Iguana though. The chips are light and crisp and flavorful, the salsa... The salsa is INCREDIBLE! So many flavors stacked on others. This ain't your mamasita's salsa. All of it and the guacamole, the whole enchilada is made in house. I ordered a chicken enchilada, a taco, and a delicious something in a fried tortilla. Everything was wonderful and delicious and tasty and I nearly exploded from all that goodness. Then I ate the fried ice cream. Sooo good! Come and see for yourself. This is some good fresh eating."
