Reviews
"The prices are too good to be true, and I could not check out because it wouldn’t take any of my credit cards. Support is nonexistent."
"Good selection and discounted items on President's day. Will come back to shop at some point"
"I got a great pair of BCBG heels for $34 and a beautiful sweater very reasonably priced."
"This was an absolutely abysmal shopping experience. Not only were the basic principles of retailing not being followed (organization of merchandise - how difficult is it to make sure things are lined up), but I truly feel bad for the one person that was working the cashier's stand. She was trying to help people, but even still I waited 24 minutes in line to check out. Absolutely terrible. I would strongly encourage not visiting Oak Park Mall for a variety of reasons in general, but if you do, don't bother walking through Macy's to get here. You're significantly better off heading to your local T.J.Maxx store or buying things online for the same (a better) discounts and a much better experience."
"Was at the mall with my family. My daughter made a mess of her shirt at the food court so we went to Macy’s to get a shirt. Seemed a bit overpriced for a little girls shirt. My son ended up picking out some shirts as well. I stood in line for 10 or more minutes waiting for an employee to purchase some things. When it was finally my turn my son realized one of the shirts was too small, so he went to find another. Instead of waiting for my son to come back, the employee at the register rung me up and then had me pay separately for the shirt my son came back with a minute later (extra taxes had to be paid of course). Because the employee buying items took so long we ended up being at Macy’s a few minutes after it closed, but we had other kids inside the mall and were trying to get out with the kids we had with us (one of them who was disabled and in a wheelchair stroller). The employees would not widen the entry so we could get out. They made us go outside all the way around to the entrance of the mall. We will be bringing the clothes back and not shopping at Macy’s again. Thanks for the reminder that I hate shopping at the mall. Ridiculous."
