"I had two flat carts stacked above my head with storage bins. The self-checkout assistant watched as I struggled to move, count and scan them. When I had trouble with the screen, he stood there. I asked for assistance and he...kept standing there. It was a slow evening, I was the only one checking out. After I was all done he did come over to accuse me of counting wrong, super helpful. That's when I had to remind him that I DO NOT WORK AT LOWES AND IF HE WANTED IT DONE HE SHOULD HAVE DONE IT!!! Well the police never paid me a visit so either I counted correctly or he was too lazy to report. Self-checkout is dystopian."

"Was great until I needed to check out. Just left all the stuff that wouldn't scan. Never had a problem checking out at Amazon, To much hassle won't be back. (And the employee just stood there talking to a green vest and ignored the register's pleas for help.)"

"We purchase a lawn ornament for Christmas, a large Angel. Brought it home and could not figure out how to put it together. I went to Home Depot and spoke to customer service. They were wonderful, asked me to bring it in and they would put it together. They did and wow, we were happy campers. a big shout out to the customer service department at the Springfield, MO. store."

"This Home Depot is better than average, in my experience. Location is great, off of Glenstone and James River Freeway. The store is always well stocked. I have been here many times after working on my house, and the staff has always been helpful. The selection is good, pricing is on par with other competitors. I enjoy their selection of house plants. They have a nice lighting section with a variety of styles. Parking is plentiful. Checkout lines are rarely long. Great paint selection."
