"Daughter and I stopped in to buy her a couple pairs of jeans. Found some and went to check out. There was another customer checking out that was having some issue with her purchase. My self and SEVERAL other customers waited in line for over 15-20 minutes. Another cashier was never called. While the customer was waiting for a manager, the cashier started checking out those of us waiting in line. I understand the cashier was trying to help the customer, but she could have called up another cashier. The manager finally came up. The issue with the customer had already been resolved and the manager started checking out the rest of us. I've worked retail and haven't ever had a line of people wait as long as we did."

"This is the first time in 3 yrs I have been in a JCP...AND IT IS MY LAST. The check out woman was ridiculous. She made us feel like if we did not apply for a credit card we would not get the advertised price/discount. My mother wanted these items for Christmas. I explained my mother hearing aids had broken. I filled out the app for my mom then told we needed to me make a phone call. I finally just said no. I the middle of all this she had to try to sell a cheap bracelet set. She tried to force that. Then she tried to force me to apply...I today her no and she had the nerve to suggest you apply and "just have your mom pay it". What!!! We did not not get the price that advertised on the racks for the items. Ended up paying more...ie...money compact list on display 8.99...we paid 10.99. I would have asked about this, but by this time I was just trying to get us away from this woman ..who had now started asking me how to get hired at my job? If I was not afraid I would go in and return everything."

"Yo this place has Airwalk Prototypes!! They also have Vision Street Wear gear. I felt like I was transported back to 1988. If you have or ever had a McSqueeb haircut this is the place for you Fresh to Death"

"This is my favorite place to buy Levi’s and Nike goods. There are hardly ever any people in the men’s section upstairs. The store is kept clean and organized. The cashiers are always friendly. I generally hate clothes shopping. Going here is stress free. The dressing rooms never have a line. J.C. Penney always runs good sales on their in store brands as well. A good time to go is the end of season for great deals."
