"I brought my 2020 Titan to this establishment because I received a recall notice in the mail. As far as the building goes, the facilities are large and clean, with a well-adorned waiting area. The vehicle service area, however, is a bit strange. There are glass offices which face the vehicle bay and you simply stand awkwardly out in the bay until someone notices you're there and summons you into those glass offices. I spoke with a gentleman named Dave. I informed Dave that I needed some recall work performed and mentioned that my truck needed an alignment. He took down my VIN and phone number all the while seeming very distracted, as the service area was quite busy. Dave told me that they had to special order the recall parts for my truck so the items should be arriving in 3-4 four business days. Fast forward two and a half weeks later, I called the service department to ask about the status of my ordered parts - the gentleman on the phone had no idea who I was and had no record of my visit at all. To his credit, he said he would get to the bottom of the problem and call me back. I happened to be in the area so I stopped by in person to address the confusion. After waiting awkwardly in that vehicle bay along with other seemingly confused customers, I spoke with a service representative who verified that my record did not exist. He began entering my information and reminding me that it would be several days before the parts arrived. Having already done that part before, I asked if I could speak with Dave about the previous appointment, and the service rep said that could possibly be helpful. Dave had no memory of my visit from two and a half weeks ago, which was understandable given the busy nature of workshops (I am an aircraft mechanic so I understand the process). However, while explaining my situation to him, he interrupted me and appeared annoyed that I stopped in for the visit. At this point, having seen the lack of coordination between the techs and the prospect of having to go through this order process all over again just to probably wind up disappointed did not seem appealing so I thanked the crew and said I'll take my business elsewhere due to a lack of trust. Word to the wise - ensure they enter your information into their computer system the first time. Interestingly, McCarthy Nissan in Olathe had the recall parts on hand and had a greeting desk in their service area for walk-ins like myself and were able to schedule my recall work the same week. I gave Elevated Nissan an extra star due to the cleanliness of their waiting areas."
